It is 16 days before we depart on our trip. We are both extremely busy right now, with work, running errands, and tying loose ends with small, tight knots. One of the chores that we completed this week involved counting and wrapping the chump change that we have been collecting for for the past five years. It was hard to say goodbye to that dirty, annoying change, but the $142 that ended up in our 'Joint Travel Fund for the Dawks Abroad Trip Around the World Journey Fund' bank account will definitely buy us a few beers and curries in Scotland.
PS - thank you to all contributors, including mom and dad, Josh, the ground, strangers, homeless guys that we stole from, and charity boxes. Just kidding, we didn't take money from charity boxes...often.
